a love poem for charlie morningstar
this could be swell
mayhaps the chance to view myself reflected on a screen,
to see a heart that’s big enough for those displaced & lost,
has proven more an influence than i’d admit it be,
to see someone display this love, no matter what the cost.
princess of hell, by whom i never thought would show,
the angels more preoccupied with purity of soul.
but mercy, grace, & love are things that all deserve to know
& daughter of the morning star has made her only goal
